In Memory of Someone Who Touched Countless

Lives Within the Community

Through the efforts of Ira Steinberg, a close family friend, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of North Caldwell approved the construction of a memorial patio and garden overlooking the Liberty Fields Complex on Gould Avenue. For five years, Alyssa enjoyed spending her summers as a counselor in the Borough's Summer Fun program. She not only made many close friends, but loved working with the children in town.

The memorial patio and garden pictured below has been constructed overlooking the Liberty Field Complex in North Caldwell to enhance and inspire our community. The cost of the construction is partially being funded by the sale of engraved paver bricks and tax deductible donations made through the foundation. If you would like to purchase an engraved paver or make a donation please click on the "donate" tab above.  Your contributions will help fund scholarships provided in memory of Alyssa.  The Alyssa Martino Memorial Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.  Therefore, your purchase, or donation is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Construction of the patio and garden has already been completed, thanks to the amazing work of Dino Torluccio, owner of D. Torluccio Landscaping in West Caldwell, New Jersey.
